Jim Parrish, M. Ed.

My name is Jim Parrish. The four people that accompany me in the photo to the right are the most important thing to me. Why I do what I do is because of them. While I am the Director of the MBA Programs in the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University – and I truly love my job that I was made for – it is a distant second to being a husband and father to these 4 breathtaking ladies. Being a father to Blakely, Abby and Maggie, my goal is to work hard for all of them. My beautiful wife, Deena, is someone I truly do not deserve and I thank God every day that He chose her to be my partner in life. I am indebted to all of these ladies and their tireless support to my pursuit of higher education. For my chosen profession I get to play a small part in lives of others and it gives me so much gratification to serve these students. As a doctoral student in the field of educational leadership, I am being challenged every day to learn new things. For me, this discipline is exciting and I see an intersection of personal and professional knowledge that is extremely rewarding.
